Banker

The finance copilot for your business

How to switch financial software to Banker

Switching financial tools to Banker takes an afternoon, not a project. This guide walks you through it: what to prepare, what to set up in Banker and what to do with your accountant. You pay month to month, no lock-in.

1. Before you switch

Export from your current tool whatever you want to keep: your issued invoices, your customers and your reports for the year. The Ministry of Finance already holds your previous vouchers; they are not lost by changing tools.

Have your Hacienda cryptographic key (the .p12 file and its PIN), your Hacienda platform user for the production environment and your issuer details at hand.

2. Create your account and connect your bank

Create your Banker account and open a business workspace. Connect your BAC Credomatic online banking: Banker imports months of history and categorizes every transaction with AI. If your money is at another institution, import the CSV of your statement or forward the bank notification emails to your workspace mailbox.

3. Set up electronic invoicing 4.4

In Invoicing, load your issuer details, your cryptographic key and your Hacienda credentials, and choose the production environment. From then on you issue invoices, tickets and credit or debit notes with the CAByS catalog, signed with XAdES and sent to the Ministry of Finance, with the response stored next to each document.

4. Bring your operation up to date

Record in Receivables the invoices your customers still owe and in Payables what you owe, with their dates. Define your budget per category and the provisions for aguinaldo, marchamo and severance. From there, cash, receivables, payables and provisions update with every sync.

5. Your accountant

Banker does not keep double-entry books and does not replace them. Your accountant receives the exports from Banker and can keep using their accounting system, or join your workspace with the accountant role to see the numbers directly.

What changes day to day

You stop logging expenses by hand: the bank brings them. You see how many months of cash you have left without building a spreadsheet. You collect on time because every pending invoice has a date. And your personal finances live in the same account, separate from the business.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose my previous invoices when I switch tools?

No. Vouchers already sent to the Ministry of Finance stay there. Export your history before cancelling your previous tool and keep it; Banker starts issuing from the first new voucher.

Do I need a new cryptographic key?

No. You use the same cryptographic key and the same Hacienda credentials you already have; you just load them into Banker.

Can I keep my current tool for a while during the switch?

Yes. Many businesses run both in parallel for a month. Just issue each invoice from one system only, so consecutive numbers are not duplicated.

Does Banker import data from other tools automatically?

There is no direct import. Transactions come in from your bank (BAC connection or CSV), and pending receivables and payables are entered by hand; for a typical business it takes under an hour.

How much does Banker cost?

The Basic plan costs US$7 and the Premium US$12 a month with VAT included; the Business plan is quoted for you. You pay month to month, no lock-in.
